BUILD CHAIN LINKS FOR YOUR BLOG POSTS

As we all knew Link wheel is the most effective SEO strategy. Recently after panda update Google is giving more priority to content,  so link wheel technique if not implemented correctly will not improve your SERPS.

Making Link Wheel Work Effective
A week before I tried with link wheel technique and got a great change in SERPs (for my client sites) only in two days. Here I would like to share important tips.
I know many of us are lazy to read long articles, so I will make it easy by highlighting it in points.
Selecting Web2.0 and Article Directory Sites For Link Wheel Sites
Before starting collect few good web2.o sites and article  directories. Make sure article directories you selected are auto approved article directories.
Here is my list of sites which I used recently to get rankings all these are auto approve sites. These are fast indexing sites.
§  Jimdo.com

Note : Make sure that you add article directories in the middle of web 2.0 sites. For instances
Blogspot.com –> Ideamarketers.com –> WordPress.com –> Goarticles.com –> Wikispaces.com –> Gather.com –> Blogspot.com
For best results make big link wheel with 9 to 10  sites and book mark these sites.
Article Content in Link Wheel
As I said above in first paragraph after panda update content became more important I recommend to use different articles for all the link wheel sites. I know it is very tough but it shall show long lasting results.
Any way you can try spinning the articles with TheBestSpinner tool.
How I did this?
I selected 9 link wheel sites from this list and took two articles spun using the BestSpinner tool two articles and used those articles in alternative sites, pinged it in pingomatic.com converted link to Rss with Feedburner and submitted to RSS sites.

To long last SERPs try with different web2.0 sites and different articles directory sites. Regularly update blogs to increase link authority.

HOW TO ADD TWITTER FOLLOW BOX TO BLOGGER

Hello Readers, in this article we will learn how to put a twitter follow box similar to the Facebook like box in your blogger blog. You can put this widget in any JavaScript enabled webpage. Social networking websites have become a vital part of blogging these days. One such micro blogging-cum-social networking website is twitter. Today I was searching for this kind of twitter widget and came across Moopz. They have developed this widget which looks identical to the Facebook like box. It allows your visitors to follow you quickly on twitter and see some familiar faces of your followers. Later in this post you will find the live demo and tutorial to add this widget in your blog.

How to add twitter follow box to blogger

·         Login in to your blogger account.
·         Navigate to the layout section of your dashboard.
·         Click on “Add a gadget” where you want this widget to appear on your blog.
·         Select a text/JavaScript widget from the pop-up window.
·         Copy and Paste the following code in that window.

<script type="text/javascript"
src="
http://s.moopz.com/fanbox_init.js"></script><div
id="twitterfanbox"></div><script
type="text/javascript">fanbox_init("
the_GeekGuru");</script>

·         Now before saving you need to make a little change in the code. Just replace my twitter   username (highlighted in red) with yours.
·         Now save the widget code.
·         Click on view blog from the layout window and see this widget in action.

Customization:

 As you can see there is not much of JavaScript code present here to make customization  It is because the whole code is stored in an external JavaScript file hosted on the url highlighted with green color. The code above just invokes a function to make this widget appear on your blog. In order to make customization you need to host that script on your own server or blog but I do not recommend this, because they might have copyrights for this code. This is a 300px x 300px widget and could be easily placed in your sidebar without any customization.

This is not an official twitter widget as I mentioned above in this article, but it is surely a handy widget which can help you increasing your twitter follower’s count. We all know these counts and stats are important these days in blogging and show the popularity of your blog. I hope you get the whole procedure but still if anyone needs more help, don’t hesitate to comment here. I love to hear from my readers and would be glad to help you.

1O KILLER SEO TIPS FOR BLOGGERS

Hello Readers, This post will talk about SEO and how to optimize your Blog/Website for better results. We all know SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. But why is this so important to every one? You will find the answer to this very important question reading this post. There are a lot of plugins available in wordpress that helps in SEO; I won’t talk about those in this post. This post will focus more on how to do SEO for Google Blogspot aka Blogger. Blogger is most widely used free blogging platform, many people use blogger including me for various reasons. But in this post we will focus on SEO; I will list a few things that you can do to make your blogspot blog an SEO friendly blog.

Why SEO Is Important

SEO is very important for every blog or website. Better SEO will make your Blog/website viral in the search result and you will be gifted free organic traffic by Search Engines. A good SEOed blog will be listed top on the search results by the search engine. Do you remember the last time you went beyond the second or even the first page of the search results? People always prefer top results. So I guess now you know why it is important to do SEO for your Blog.

How To Do SEO For Blogspot

1) Provide custom Meta description in every single post you publish. The new Interface by Google Blogger has made this thing very easy to add a custom description. You can simply add it while publishing a new post by adding 2-3 lines in the description box on the right sidebar.
2) Adding keywords to your post’s content is very important. You should try to maintain atleast 2-3% of keyword density in your post. By this I mean if you have a 500 words post you can add 10-15 keywords.
3) Blogspot’s new interface now allows you to choose custom permalinks for your post. Format your post url in such a way that it explains everything about your post and include the necessary keywords. It should not very long and not even a small one is good. It should be near to 50 characters.
4) There is one more very cool trick you should do and it is to format your post title that will help
your post getting an identity among the other search results. Go to Edit HTML from your blog template,
Click on expand the template and search for <title><data:blog.pagetitle/>
</title> now replace this with the code written below:
<b:if cond= 'data:blog.pageType == &quot;index&quot;'>
<title><data:blog.title/></title>
<b:else/>
<title><data:blog.pageName/></title>
</b:if>
5) Format your blog images as well. This mean you need to add title and alt tag in every image. This helps a lot in SEO. You can simple add it by clicking on an image in the edit mode and then mention it in properties.
6) Use proper Labels in your posts. Labels should be unique and descriptive. Add at least 3-5 unique labels closely related to your post with every post you publish.
7) Add no-follow attribute to all the external links you mention in your post.
8) Add Meta tags (description and keywords) in your blog template.
9) Link building is very important for SEO.
 10) Last but no the least always write quality and unique content that will easily get up the search results and people may voluntary link back to you. You can also add a link to me widget at the last of every post.

HOW TO REDUCE BLOG PAGE LOAD TIME

Hello Readers, in this post we will learn useful tips which will help you to reduce your blog page load time. Page load time is a big factor that affects the blogging. Almost every reader hates the slow opening websites and blogs. Not only the readers, but the Search engines robots and crawlers hate the blogs and websites which have a higher page load time. It will affect the overall SEO and quality of your Blog. I am sure being a blogger you want to improve your blog's quality and reduce the page load time. But how we can do this? We will find the answer to this important question later in this article.

·        > Way to make money online

·        > Make easy money online
·        > Make money blogging

·        >Earn Money

·        >Earning money online

If your Blog has a lesser page load time, you will be able to attract more users to your blog which will help you increase your readership. Sometimes the search engine bots and crawlers find it difficult to crawl the WebPages having more page load time, hence they skip those pages. It will result in poor indexing and will surely affect your organic traffic. Before going to discuss the remedies for the page load time, we shall take a look at the factors which affect the page load time:

Factors that increase the page load time:

·         External JavaScript Codes
·         External Images
·         Heavy Blogger Templates
·         XHTML Errors
·         Unnecessary Widgets and Plug-ins
·         External Hyperlinks and many more.

I have mentioned a few problems that may increase your blog page load time. Now we shalltake a look at the tips that will help you reduce the page load time.

Reduce Page Load Time

JavaScript:

JavaScript is very important for blogger and other blogging platforms. But we need to use it wisely because it can increase the page load time of your blog. You should not be using a lot of JavaScript codes in your blog. If you have requirements to use plenty of JavaScript codes in your blog then you should try to store the JS code inside the template rather than just using it from external resources. It will help you to reduce the page load time. You can store the JS code in your template's head section using the script tags.

Post Images:

Almost every blogger uses images and other graphics to explain their blog posts. They are an important part of our articles. But it may take time to load on to your page and increase the page load time. To avoid this, you should resize the images using the height and width attributes of image tag like this:

<img src="Source of Image" height="in pixels" width="in pixels"/>

Template Images:

Most of us use the custom templates to make their blog look and feel better. But custom templates have external images. The external images takes time to load on your blog and increases the page load time. You can save all the external images in a draft post in your blog and replace all the external images links in your template with the new links. This will surely help you to reduce your page load time.

Background Images:

Avoid using images in the background of your template. As mentioned above images take more time to load and in case of any error your images will not load. It will result in a bad looking blog template. You can use CSS style rules to replace the background images.

Limit Posts on Homepage:

You should not display many article on the homepage. It will increase the page load time. Ideally you should be displaying only 5 articles or whatever count suits you, to reduce the page load time.

Use Post Summary:

Displaying full articles on homepage can affect you page load time. You should be displaying only the introductory paragraph on the homepage and the rest of the article on the posts page.

Blog Template:

You should be using good quality blog templates. Templates with flash content and heavy images will take more time to load. You should be avoiding such templates and use simple/light templates for your blog.

Advertisement units:

Almost every blogger choose to display ads on their blogs to earn money online. But you should consider using lesser ad units to minimize the page load time. You can also delay ads to load after the page load using jQuery. Enclose the ads code in jQuery ready function to load ads after the page load, like this:

$(document).ready(function(){Ad codes Here});

Remove unnecessary widgets

Many bloggers install unnecessary plugins and widgets in their blog like separate social networks widgets for all networks, stats counters or other flash based widgets. You should not be using too many widgets and plug-in. You can add all in one social network widget  to reduce the page load time.

External Links

External Hyperlinks degrade your sites performance and SEO. Many bloggers display their visitors and other stats using the external hyperlinks. You need to avoid using these kinds of external links.

I hope I covered almost all points in this article. If you follow these tips, I am sure you can reduce your page load time to a great extent. If you think I missed any important point, you can mention it in the article; I will update it in my post.
